Product use:

Used for many years to refine animal oil, vegetable oil and mineral oil. A carrier for insecticides and fungicides. An effective absorbent for greases, oil, water and other chemicals. Used for litter and bedding for poultry, pets etc. Also a soil conditioner for greenhouses and golf courses. A thickening and suspending agent.

Most Important Hazards: Contains SUSPECT CANCER HAZARD. Risk of cancer depends on route, duration and level of exposure. Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause lung damage. Inhalation may result in respiratory irritation.

Potential health effects:
Inhalation:

May cause irritation of the respiratory tract. May cause disabling, Progressive pulmonary fibrosis due to crystalline silica. Symptoms include cough, dyspnea, wheezing, and impairment of pulmonary function, Progression of symptoms can continue after dust exposure ceases.

Ingestion: No adverse health effects are expected from swallowing
Skin contact:

May cause skin irritation. May cause mechanical injury. Many cause dermatitis.

Eye contact:
